"When snooty phonetics professor Henry Higgins (Leslie Howard) meets Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle (Wendy Hiller), he bets his friend that he can elevate her lowbrow speech and pass her off as a duchess at a grand ball in just three months. Through an unrelenting string of exasperating drills, Henry transforms the uncultured Eliza into an elegant lady. Along the way, he falls in love with her -- but Henry's too stubborn to admit it."

Straight out of Coney Island, it’s the 2010 Coney Island Cockabilly Roadshow, featuring the trashiest, dirtiest rock and roll, the most mind-bending and bizarre sideshow and the most sultry and seductive burlesque that Coney Island has to offer.
Promoting their big end of summer Labor Day Weekend show, this traveling roadshow will be blowing the roof off the Cox Capitol Theatre. The tour eventuates in a four day party over Labor Day Weekend on the boardwalk in Scenic Coney Island, New York, the home of burlesque, sideshow and a new generation of fiery, hell-bent rock ‘n’ roll.
The show stars The Squidling Brothers Circus Sideshow, Viva Le Vox, Jason and the Punknecks, Guitar Bomb, Hickry Hawkins and The Holy Roller Sideshow.
Weaver’s Weekend is operated by the board of directors for the Friends of Mike Weaver Foundation, an approved 501(c) 3 corporation located in Macon, Georgia. The primary purpose of this organization is to raise money to support youth sports activities in the community. One of the primary beneficiaries so far has been Vine Ingle Little League in Macon.
LORD T & ELOISE are Crunk artists and performers based out of Memphis, TN. The two self-proclaimed ‘intergalactic time travelers’ and ‘forebearers of the Rapocalypse” have spent the last three years touring the United States, sharing the stage with some of the industry’s most important modern performers, and bombarding the American media with their own sense of style, bravado and showmanship. The duo is set to release its third full-length effort, “TIME MACHINE 2013”, this August. The album, which takes place in the future, is a twenty-three track magnum opus of the duo’s experience with time travel, and harbors messages of what is in store for humanity. Their upcoming string of live performances, entitled ‘The Rapocalypse Tour’, begins in August and will take the rap duo across the entirety of the American landscape until the close of the year.
“You should download a few ditties from the dandies, Lord T & Eloise, the world’s first purveyors of Aristocrunk.” -VH1’s BEST WEEK EVER
"Playing the Bowery Ballroom tonight, Lord T and Eloise bring two words to mind - Glam Rap." -The New York Times
“No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t hate it…as good, if not better than most of the rap I hear these days…polished, unique, and catchy as hell...funny, relevant, and original.” - THE SAN FRANSISCO BAY GUARDIAN
“This Athens, GA trio burnishes the South’s recent rep as a cauldron of literate rock acts. Though their pop-dusted garage band approach is distinctive, there are echoes of Kings of Leon bite, My Morning Jacket experiments and Drive-By Truckers lyrical honesty. Singer/guitarist Parker Gispert explores angst and sexual guilt without getting wimpy or losing thrust.” (3 stars) -USA TODAY

FUTUREBIRDS:
In Athens, Georgia, the future can look a lot like the past. Often not too many changes down that way and Futurebirds certainly don’t mind. Some folks think good music comes from making a whole bunch of sounds no one’s ever heard before. Some folks think that you can sit back and take her easy for a little while without trying too damn hard. Some folks think you can have a little of both. If you push yourself every once in awhile, you might wind up in the right place around the right friends and come up with something worth playing on the porch-swing over an ice-cold beer. That’s exactly Futurebirds’ situation. Surrounded by a sleepy-living music community—more earnest than you’ll find elsewhere—the band works to set things right where they belong. Provide people with an infectious melody and a refreshing song about things they understand and they’ll sing with you.
